Getting your hands into tradition

Cooking Class — I Sapori della Toscana turns the kitchen into a place of encounter and learning. Guided by an expert chef, participants work with fresh, local ingredients to prepare traditional recipes, from pici to fresh pasta, from peasant soups to typical desserts. Each step is explained clearly, leaving room for practice and questions. Kneading, rolling out and tasting make it possible to understand the value of gestures that seem simple but hold experience and family memory. The lesson does not aim for formal perfection: it invites you to understand the rhythm, texture and character of Tuscan cooking.

From preparation to the table

The cooking class is organized for a minimum of two people and includes the ingredients and equipment needed for the lesson. The work proceeds in a participatory way, with practical instructions that can also be repeated at home. Once preparation is complete, the dishes are served at lunch: the moment at the table thus becomes the natural conclusion of the activity and not a separate phase. Eating what you have cooked changes the way you savor it, because each course preserves the memory of the choices made, the mistakes corrected and the advice received. Local wines may accompany lunch, while beverages are excluded from the basic package.

An experience to take home

The proposal is suitable for couples, families, friends and small groups who wish to get to know Valdichiana through its food culture. No previous experience is required: the itinerary is adapted to the participants' level and favors the pleasure of learning together. The class allows you to meet a local professional, explore the use of ingredients and understand why some recipes are still so present in everyday life. The memory does not remain only in photographs or the shared lunch: it continues in your hands, when you try to make the pasta or a soup again in your own kitchen. This is the most authentic value of the Experience: turning a flavor into personal knowledge.
