The countryside told to the youngest
Family Farm is an experience designed to bring adults and children closer to rural life in the Valdichiana. Farmyard animals, agricultural spaces and educational workshops become opportunities to observe, ask questions and understand how the things that reach our tables every day are produced. Meeting those who work on the farm gives value to the simplest gestures: caring for the animals, respecting the rhythms of nature and recognising the seasonality of products. Children take part directly and safely, while adults rediscover a world often known only in the abstract. The visit thus becomes a shared experience, not an activity reserved for the youngest.
From fieldwork to lunch
After the educational activities, lunch at the farm allows guests to taste fresh products and dishes inspired by Tuscan peasant tradition. The origin of the ingredients, the link with the farm and the simplicity of the preparations help people understand the continuity between the work observed and the food served. For adults, a tasting of local wines is also included, naturally woven into the convivial moment. It is not just about eating in the countryside, but to recognize the path that connects land, people and cooking. The private transfer makes the day more comfortable and allows the family to focus entirely on the experience.
Quality time for the whole family
The proposal is suitable for families with children, small groups and grandparents who wish to share an educational day without giving up the pleasure of the table. The activities are accessible and can be experienced with curiosity, without the rigidity of a traditional visit. The farm offers a setting in which to learn through direct contact, play and observation, while lunch creates a space of connection between the different generations. It is an authentic way to get to know the Valdichiana and take home concrete memories: the sound of an animal, the scent of the kitchen and the awareness that every product has a story before it reaches the plate.
