E-Bike Among Villages and Nature lets you explore the Valdichiana independently, choosing between electric bicycles, road bikes and mountain bikes suited to different levels of experience. When you pick up your bike, maps, directions and selected routes are provided, so you can plan your day with greater awareness. The bicycle allows you to cross scenic roads, villages and stretches immersed in nature without losing contact with the places. The journey is not defined by a single mandatory stop: each itinerary can be chosen based on the time available, your fitness level and personal interests.
Four Routes, Four Landscapes
The Percorso delle Bonifiche starts from Marciano della Chiana and crosses fields, hydraulic works and traces of Etruscan history up to the climb towards Cortona. The Percorso delle Leopoldine connects Marciano to Castiglion Fiorentino, passing along the Stradone di Montecchio and the castle. The Percorso degli Olivi follows white gravel roads and olive groves towards Civitella in Val di Chiana, while the Percorso delle Rocche links Lucignano, Monte San Savino and Gargonza through woods and panoramas. Maps are not only for finding your way: help choose the type of landscape and experience best suited to the day.
Autonomy, preparation and respect
The proposal is suited to those who love cycle tourism and want to move with greater freedom, without giving up reliable guidance. Before setting off, it is important to assess the length, elevation gain and surface of the route, choose the right equipment and consider weather conditions. The daily rental allows you to adapt the visit to your needs, but requires responsibility in managing timing and stops. Monte Lignano Nature Park can be one of the destinations for those seeking a greener, more secluded setting.
