From June 17 to 26, 2026, international classical music meets the historic centre of Cortona. NUME Festival brings together established performers, young musicians selected from around the world and some of the city's most evocative venues.
The festival creates a route from Teatro Signorelli to Auditorium Sant’Agostino. Each concert thus becomes a different way of listening to music and, at the same time, of experiencing Cortona.
The performers and the concerts
- June 17: “Fleur à ses amis” with Fleur Barron, at Teatro Signorelli.
- June 21: “Legends: A Stradivari Night with Robert Levin”, with Robert Levin, Stella Chen, Vlad Stanculeasa and Andreas Brantelid.
- June 22: Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider in “To My Friends”, with Stella Chen, Ettore Causa, Torleif Thedéen and Enrico Pace.
- June 23 and 24: “New Generation: the future of classical music”, with thirteen young artists selected at the international level.
- June 25 and 26: the programs “Tramonti” and “Nostalgia”.
Cortona through music
The presence of musicians from different paths and generations shapes ten days of listening, encounter and discovery. The historic halls do not merely serve as a backdrop: they become part of the festival experience and accompany the audience from one concert to the next.
