In September, immerse yourselves in the lively atmosphere of Cortona with the CortonArt Festival, a free event organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Cortona, which transforms the Gardens of the Parterre in a lively show of street artists, jugglers, comedians and magicians, for an unforgettable experience for everyone, young and old.
The Festival also hosts aFood & Drink Area, where you can experience an extraordinary culinary adventure, discovering the authentic flavors of all of Italy, thanks to "food truck" coming from various regions, so as to delight you with unique dishes and traditional delicacies. You can taste the famous Abruzzese arrosticinii Ascolani fried olives, the typical Sicilian arancini and cannoli, the Porcobrado, that is, the renowned Tuscan gourmet sandwich, the beef burgers, the Adriatic fried fish, gourmet sandwiches and typical Umbrian cuisine, typical Romagna cuisine and piadina, all within the frame of an enchanting place.
But the CortonArt Festival It's not just shows and food. Inside the event you can find an area dedicated to the Urban Market, where you can discover a wide range of artworks and artifacts created by artists, craftspeople and inventors from all over the world. Each stand represents a universe of originality, with unique works of art, innovative sculptures, handmade jewelry, creative furniture and extraordinary inventions.
