History and identity
The event, now in its second edition, will be dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the birth of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, one of the greatest composers of Renaissance choral music.
Choralia 2025 aims to transform Cortona into a reference point for choral music at the national and international level, welcoming choirs, vocal ensembles, conductors and singers from all over the world.
What to see and experience
This year's workshop, directed by Maestro Raimundo Pereira Martinez, Sistine Chapel singer, provides three intensive days of study, rehearsals, and theoretical insights aimed at a concert-lecture on G.P. da Palestrina on the 500th anniversary of his birth, which will involve all participants. The event is open to professionals, students, enthusiasts, and everyone who wishes to experience a high-level educational and artistic experience, immersed in the beauty of the city of Cortona
In addition to being a learning experience, Choralia also aims to be a great music festival.
