The traditional living Nativity scene in Castiglion Fiorentino is also being renewed for Christmas 2025, keeping alive the magic of this ancient tradition. As usual, the nativity scene will come to life in the town center on the day of Saint Stephen's, December 26.
The route, which starts from Piazza San Francesco, leads visitors to discover the most picturesque and characteristic corners of Castiglion Fiorentino, immersing them in a magical atmosphere that seems to take them back in time.
About a hundred extras bring to life the most iconic scenes of that period: visitors will be able to admire the craftsmen at work, the shepherds, the farmers, the palace of Herod, the Roman camp, the Magi Kings, the ancient crafts and centuries-old traditions, until arriving at the Nativity stable.
Along the way, it will be possible to purchase local specialties such as ciacce, vin brulè and chestnuts, enriching the sensory experience of visitors.
Entry to the living nativity scene is by free donation, allowing everyone to take part and contribute to preserving this fascinating tradition.
